Links with local Children's Centres
In 2009 BAF was awarded some funding by the Local Area Boards that oversee the Children's Centres in Bedfordshire (now Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire) for the following work:
(1) Updating and revising the Bedfordshire Advice Directory - and producing a new version of the Directory in an online format
(2) Conducting research into the current and potential future links between local advice agencies and the local Children's Centres
(3) Maintaining and updating the Advice Directory in 2010

March 2009 - Action plan for the project finalised
April 2009 - IT specialist appointed to develop the new website for the BAF Directory
June 2009 - BAF members consulted on the information that will be included in the new Directory
10th June 2009 - Update on project given at BAF meeting
12th June 2009 - Meeting held to discuss research with Children's Centres Manager in Central Bedfordshire
July 2009 - Meetings held with Children's Centres managers in Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire
August 2009 - Research questionnaire sent to all Children's Centres in Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire
August 2009 - Research questionnaire sent to BAF members
August 2009 - Protype of Advice Directory website designed
August 2009 - Form sent to BAF members to collect up-to-date information for use on the the Directory
August and September 2009 - Visits made to selected Children's Centres
September 2009 - Returned research questionnaires analysed
September 2009 - First draft of research report written

October 2009 - Further design work on Advice Directorycompleted.
